West and East clash at Domo

The latest addition to the restaurant flora in Reykjavík is Domo. “We offer a new fusion of Japanese and European culinary arts,” says Ragnar Ómarsson, master chef at Domo. “European dishes cooked Japanese style and vice versa.” The main focus is fresh ingredients and healthy dishes. Good food and chilled-out atmosphere, what more could we ask for? The interior of the new space is designed to create a relaxing environment. Classy and comfy furniture set the tone. Only professional waiters serve guests and do everything to make them feel good. Domo means thank you in Japanese and house in Esperanto, coming from the Latin word domus. A fitting name for a place that does everything to make guests feel like they are at home. -hbv
