According to latest reports, Icelandic footballer Eiður Smári Gudjohnsen has signed a deal with Spanish team Barcelona. Gudjohnsen is currently a striker for UK team Chelsea.

This was reported on the website Goal.com who state that he was bought for 12 million Euros and that the contract is for three years. However, Eggert SKúlason who is Gudjohnsen's PR person denies this story and says that nothing is final.
