Rescue at Sea

Yesterday morning the freight ship Wilson Muuga stranded in Hvalnesfjara close to Sandgerði. The Danish marine ship Triton came to rescue but their speed boat turned over and eight men went into sea. The Icelandic Coast Guard had to rescue the Danish men from the sea on board the helicopter TF-Sif. One drowned when his life west tore off. Yesterday afternoon the helicopter was able to bring all the men from the ship Wilson Muuga on land. 19 men were rescued. The freight ship is still stranded.
