Blóðbönd wins Jury Award

Blóðbönd, also known as Thicker Than Water won the Jury Award at the Heidelberg film festival in Germany. The award goes to the director Árni Ólafur Ásgeirsson. The festival is one of the biggest in Germany. Director Árni was very pleased with the Award, 60.000 people are expected at the film festival, and this award could help the film being accepted to more festivals and in distribution. Thicker Than Water has been screened at eight film festival‘s in Europe and Norht-America and will be screened at three more festivals during the next days; in Thessaloniki in Greece; Lodz in Polland and in Lettland.
