Yrsa is in Germany to follow the publication through. She will attend Mord am Hellweg, the largest crime novel conference in Europe and read at the Embassy of Iceland in Berlin. Her publisher Fischer Verlag has purchased Yrsa's next book called Sér grefur gröf in Icelandic. Þriðja táknið (Third Ritual in English) has now been published in eight European countries; in November it will come out in Greek and then Slovenian and Check. Publishing deals have been made in 25 languages throughout the world. Yrsa's next novel due out in November has been sold to the US, UK, Spain, Italy and Germany. The Third Ritual has been well received abroad. The Swedish magazine Allas says: „entertaining criminal by a new queen of crime novels." The Politiken critic said the Third Ritual was a charming Icelandic criminal and he awaits Yrsa's next novel. The webzines www.livra.com in Spain and www.crimezone.nl in the Netherlands gave The Third Ritual four stars.
