Stefano from Italy was sitting quietly and going over tonight's programme when our reporter chatted with him.

"This is my third year at Iceland Airwaves. The first year I came with my friend to see Sigur Rós but for the past two years I've come alone. It's no problem. My friends think it's weird that I come here alone, but they're not bothered by it."

Stefano is mostly interested in seeing the Icelandic bands.

"I've seen Jón Jónsson, Sin Fang and Ásgeir Trausti, just to name a few," says Stefano and uses the chance to praise Icelandic music, which only has a few fans in Italy.

"I think that Italians only know Sigur Rós, Björk and Emilíana Torrini."

He hopes to return next year but admits that a week's stay in Iceland does hurt the wallet, but it's worth it.
